Meet the Kent Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Kent
When you call Servo Garage Doors Kent, a real person answers. The technician who shows up at your door works here in Kent, knows the neighborhoods from East Hill to Panther Lake, and answers to one standard: The Haven Standard. No subcontractors. No rotating cast. Just a small crew that has repaired, installed, and rebuilt thousands of garage doors across the Green River Valley since 2015. We’re independently owned and operated, and every person on this team carries the same commitment: written price before work starts, photo record before we leave.
Our People
Marcus Deller, Owner
Marcus founded Servo Garage Doors Kent in 2015 after spending a decade watching residential garage door companies get the basics wrong: vague quotes, undocumented work, and technicians who couldn’t explain what actually failed. He built Servo around a single founding rule, which became The Haven Standard: the customer sees the failed part before anyone quotes a replacement. Marcus still runs jobs personally when the schedule demands it, and he’s the one who signs off on the photo record from every visit. On weekends, you’ll catch him at Lake Meridian, usually losing a fishing debate with his son.
Davis R., Lead Technician
Davis has been turning wrenches on overhead doors for 14 years, and he’s the guy we send when a torsion spring snaps at 2 a.m. in a Kent East Hill cul-de-sac. He’s certified on LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Genie opener systems, and he can tell you the spring wire diameter just by looking at the break. His specialty is emergency spring and cable work; the door that won’t open on a Monday morning is usually back in the tracks before noon. Davis keeps a notepad in the truck that’s older than most apprentices, and it’s still the only place he writes his panel measurements.
Priya S., Senior Installer
Priya leads the installation side of the house, which means she’s the one measuring rough openings, leveling track on older Kent garages that haven’t been square since the Clinton administration, and making sure a new Clopay or Amarr door seals tight against the wind coming off the Green River. She’s been with Servo for six years and has installed every major brand we service: LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, Craftsman, and Raynor. Priya learned framing from her uncle before she ever touched a garage door, and it shows. She grows tomatoes in a raised bed behind her place on the West Hill and swears the soil by the river is the only reason they taste right.
Tom W., Service Coordinator
Tom is the voice on the phone at 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., the one who takes the emergency call, gets a name and an address, and dispatches a technician with an on-the-way text, not a callback window. He’s been with Servo since 2018 and knows the Kent service area block by block: which streets flood in November, which apartment complexes have weight limits on the service road, which neighborhoods near Kent Station have alley access only. Before this, Tom ran logistics for a food distributor, so a day with 14 stops and three emergency calls doesn’t rattle him. He plays drums badly and only in his garage, which, ironically, has a very well-maintained door.
One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard isn’t a poster in the office. It’s a set of clauses that govern what happens from the moment you call to the moment the truck pulls away. Clause 1 is the one everyone knows: flat, written price and written scope before any work starts. No “call for a quote.” No surprises on the invoice. Clause 4 is the one that separates us: the technician photographs the failed part, the damage, and the completed repair, and you receive that record before we leave. It’s documentation, not decoration. Our technicians are background-checked and uniformed, and the local business holds its own license and insurance under The Haven Standard. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means what it says: if it’s not right, we make it right. That’s not a marketing line. It’s the terms page. And it’s why Marcus can hand you a photo record with his name on it at the end of every job.
